Your account

You need an account to create schematics. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has got into your account. You can change your handle at any time from settings, but be aware that doing so changes your profile address and breaks existing links to it.

What you publish

You keep ownership of what you create. By publishing a schematic you give us permission to host and display it, and you give other users permission to view it and fork their own copy, subject to the licence you choose for it.

Only publish work you have the right to share. Do not put credentials, personal data about other people, or anything confidential into a schematic you intend to publish.

What is not allowed

No content that is illegal, that harasses or endangers people, that impersonates someone else, or that exists to spam or mislead. No attempts to break, overload or probe the service.

Submissions are reviewed before they go public. We can decline, unpublish or remove anything that breaks these rules, and suspend accounts that repeatedly do so.

Forks

Anyone can fork a published schematic. If you would rather your work were not adapted, do not publish it — drafts stay private to you.

No warranty

Schematic is provided as it is. Schematics are written by other users, not verified by us, and following one is your own decision. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted, and we are not liable for losses arising from using it.

Changes and ending

These terms may change as the platform grows; material changes will be noted in the changelog. You can stop using Schematic whenever you like.
